A tour designed to make you feel the atmosphere of this lively city.

Since the 1960s, Alicante, the capital of the “Costa Blanca”, has been one of the most popular holiday destinations for international tourists in Spain, with long sandy beaches as its main attraction. However, an increasing number of visitors are discovering. Alicante has a long history to discover. You have time to learn about the Moors and Christians, founders and conquerors of the city, and the magnificent city they were able to build, including the most popular sites: the Castillo de Santa Bárbara, where you will have excellent opportunities to take photos of the beautiful views from the city, the Cathedral of San Nicolás, with its magnificent baroque altarpiece and its blue dome. There will be time to explore the promenade: the Postiguet beach and the magnificent tiled promenade Explanada de España. Magnificent “squares” in the old town will also be featured on this tour.

We take an elevator to the castle of Santa Bárbara, the largest fortification in Spain, where we can enjoy the best views of the city and its surroundings.

Then we return to the old town, stopping at the Esplanade of Spain, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and the Cathedral of San Nicolás. Our next stop will be the “Museo Fogueres”, where we can admire the “papier mache” figures that were saved from the fire at the popular “Festival of San Juan” in June.

We will stroll through some of the charming squares of the old town, such as the famous Plaza de Gabriel Miró and its huge Ficus trees. During the tour we can give some free time if necessary.
