WALKING TOUR ALMERÍA

WALKING TOUR ALMERÍA SPAIN

Get ready to get to know this genuine area of Andalusia and its Costa de Almería. Visiting Almería is an opportunity for travelling to the Moorish past of the Iberian Peninsula. They were the ones who founded this 200.000 people city full of marvelous spots which are waiting to be discovered by you. No doubt the Alcazaba Arab Palace is a must, and we will show you all the corners and secrets of this impregnable building which is coming from the ninth century. Later, when the Christians arrived in Almería, the most important religious Temple was built: The Cathedral. It is considered to be the second smallest Cathedral of Spain but its lush chapels together with its fortress- shaped walls make it one of the favourite sights for visitors. Some free time will be given for shopping in Calle de las Tiendas, meaning street of stores, located on one of Almería’s most charming streets where all fashionable trends are possible.

Once we arrive at the Alcazaba, we will go up little by little until we reach the very top, where stunning views of the city and the coastline are totally worth the climb. Continuing our tour we will visit the inside of the Catholic Cathedral and after that, we will show you the beautiful City Hall Building Square with its huge obelisk.
